Cavern lunch session: The Beatles.
By 12.30pm, Brian and Alistair Taylor visit the Cavern, during the Beatles performance.

1963
'Please Please Me' LP number 1, 27th week (UK Record Retailer chart).

Two performances at the Granada, East Ham, London ('The Beatles Autumn Tour').
Concert at the Adelphi, Slough ('The Beatles Autumn Tour').

The Beatles attend a party at the washing-machine tycoon John Bloom's house, 60 Park Lane, Mayfair, London.

1964
18.30, 20.50. Concerts at the City Hall, Sheffield.

1965
Abbey Road, Room 65. 2.30-5.30pm. Editing: 'The Beatles' Third Christmas Record' (takes 1-3). Mono mixing: 'Michelle' (remix 1, from take 2); 'What Goes On' (from take 1); 'Run For Your Life' (from take 5); 'Think For Yourself' (from take 1); 'The Beatles' Third Christmas Record' (from edit of takes 1-3). Brian phones Arthur Howes, telling him they won't accept more live performances.

John visits the exhibition 'Unfinished Paintings And Objects By Yoko Ono', at the Indica Gallery.

Brian reports that the Beatles contract with EMI has expired, although a new one is close to finalization.

First issue of 'Rolling Stone'. John as Private Gripweed appears on cover.

1968
'Hey Jude' number 1, 7th week, 10th week in the Top 30 (Billboard).

1969
Press reports begin to appear about John and Yoko's film 'Apotehosis'.

1973
UK single release: 'Run, Run, Run'/'Men, Men, Men'.

1983
'Say Say Say' number 1, 5th week (Billboard).
