John, with Brian and Cynthia, attends a literary lunch in his honour, organized by Christina Foyle, at the Dorchester Hotel, London. Brian makes a speech.

1st issue of 'Disc And Music Echo'. A half-page advertisement run by NEMS Enterprises confirms that Brian has terminated/failed to renew management contracts of Michael Haslam and the Rustiks.
