It is reported that the Beatles, Gerry and the Pacemakers, and Billy J. Kramer with the Dakotas, have sold, in the UK only, over 2.5 million records in 6 months.

He announces that Cilla Black will make her debut in pantomime in 'Little Red Riding Hood', Billy J. Kramer with the Dakotas will open in 'Mother Goose', and Gerry and the Pacemakers in 'Cinderella'.
