5.00-5.29pm. BBC's 'Pop Go The Beatles' broadcast (all 17 June 1963 session but 'A Taste Of Honey').

1964
Concert in Auckland, New Zealand.
The producing company Fourmost Productions Limited is incorporated, with Brian one of its opening directors.

1965
Brian begins negotiations to present the next UK tour of the Everly Brothers.
The Beatles, with Brian and Wendy Hanson, stay at a hotel in Geneva.
4.30pm, 9.30pm. Concerts at the Palazzo dello Sport, Geneva, Italy.

Mr. Quintieri, member of the Italian Parliament, in the Chamber of Deputies, asks the Minister of Finance if 'appropriate measure has been taken to guarantee the payment of taxes on the fees paid to the Beatles and what was the amount declared and assessed.'

1966
Arrival and concert in Essen, at the Grugahalle. The press announces that a Japanese nationalist group has threatened to cut the Beatles' hair during their next visit to Japan, protesting for their performance at the Budokan Hall.
'Paperback Writer', number 1.
''Yesterday'... And Today', 1st week in the Top 30 (Billboard).

Transmision on 'Thank Your Lucky Stars' of clips of 'Paperback Writer' and 'Rain'.

'Our World' is broadcast. Premiere of 'All You Need Is Love'.
Studio 1. 2.00pm-1.00am. Recording: 'All You Need Is Love' (takes 48-50; BBC rehearsal takes 1-3; takes 51-53; takes 54-58 (58 being live BBC broadcast); overdub onto take 58). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Richard Lush/Martin Benge. Recording of snare drum roll and re-done John vocal for 'All You Need Is Love'. Visits at the studio: Mick Jagger, Marianne Faithfull, Keith Richard, Keith Moon, Eric Clapton, Pattie Harrison, Jane Asher, Mike McCartney, Graham Nash and wife, Gary Leeds, Hunter Davies.

Copies of 'Revolution 1' and 'Revolution 9' for John and Apple Corps.

Studio 3. George produces and plays guitar on Jackie Lomax session, recording 'Sour Milk Sea'.
