George Martin produces a Peter Sellers' session using sitar and tabla, for the song 'Wouldn't It Be Loverly', of the 'Songs For Swingin' Sellers' LP.

1963

'Please Please Me' LP, 30th week in the Top 10 (UK New Musical Express chart).

Bernard Delfont announces the Beatles will perform at the Royal Command Performance.

Evening: Concert at the Floral Hall, Southport.
