Lunch time Cavern session: The Beatles.

EMI House, ground floor studio. Recording for Radio Luxembourg's 'The Friday Spectacular'.

1963
[Some day between 7-13 October.] Strand Theatre, London. The Beatles see the play 'A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum'.

1964
Enfield Town Driving Test Centre, Enfield Town, Middlesex. Morning. Ringo takes his driving test, successfully.

Studio 2. 2.30-6.00pm. Recording: 'She's A Woman' (takes 1-7). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Norman Smith; 2nd Engineer: Ken Scott/ Mike Stone.
Ringo uses the chocalho for the first time. First session for 'I Feel Fine'/'She's A Woman'.

1965
First night of 'Star Scene '65', at the Granada Cinema, Bedford. First anyone's official association (Brian's, in this case), with a pirate radio company (Radio London): Everly Brothers, supported by Cilla Black, Lionel Bart and his Kick Dancers, Billy J. Kramer with the Dakotas, Paddy, Klaus and Gibson, the Marionettes, and the Alan Elsdon Band.

1966
''Yesterday'... And Today', 16th week in the Top 100 (Billboard).

1968
Studio 2. 4.00pm-8.00am. Recording: 'It's Been A Long Long Long Time' (working title of 'Long Long Long') (overdub onto take 67); 'I'm So Tired' (takes 1-14); 'The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill' (takes 1-3). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Ken Scott; 2nd Engineer: Mike Sheady.
First female 'lead vocal' on a Beatles recording (Yoko Ono, on 'The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill').
Visit at the studio: Maureen Starkey.

1971
UK LP release: 'Imagine'.

1980
John and Yoko sign a contract with Geffen Records for the distribution of 'Double Fantasy'.

1988
2nd episode of a BBC series, essentially based on 'The Beatles At The Beeb' collection.
