1963 `She Loves You', 8th week in the Top 10 (UK New Musical Express chart). `Please Please Me' LP, 31st week in the Top 10 (UK New Musical Express chart).

1963 Studio 2. 10.00am-1.00pm. Recording: `I Wanna Be Your Man' (take 16). Mono mixing: `I Wanna Be Your Man' (from take 16); `Little Child' (from edit of takes 15, 18); `Hold Me Tight' (from edit of takes 26, 29). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Norman Smith; 2nd Engineer: unknown.

1963 The Beatles on the way to Stockholm, Sweden. Brian is interviewed for the new Southern TV programme `For Art's Sake'. After the programme Brian flies to Sweden to join the group's tour.

1964 18.40, 21.00. Concerts at the Gaumont State Cinema, West Hampstead, London.

1968 Studio 1. The George Martin Orchestra (41 musicians directed by Martin), re-records the B-side of `Yellow Submarine' LP.

1974 Record Plant Studios, Los Angeles. John records tracks for LP `Rock'n'Roll'. Producer: John Lennon.

1980 US single release: `(Just Like) Starting Over'/`Kiss Kiss Kiss'.

1980 Mark David Chapman sings himself out of work as John Lennon.

1995 US `Newsweek' cover: `Meet The Beatles (Again)'.
