Recording for BBC's 'Top Gear': 'Long Tall Sally'; 'Things We Said Today'; 'A Hard Day's Night'; 'And I Love Her'; 'I Should Have Known Better'; 'If I Fell'; 'You Can't Do That'. 'I Should have Known Better' is the commercially released version.

Palace Theatre, Watford, Hertfordshire. Paul attends to see Jane Asher perform.

'Revolver' goes to the disc cutting room. George Martin phones Geoff Emerick, telling him to replace remix 11 of 'Tomorrow Never Knows', marked 'best', by the original best, remix 8.

US gold certification for 'Paperback Writer'/'Rain'.
