'A Hard Day's Night' single number 1, 1st week (UK New Musical Express chart).
'With The Beatles', 24th week in the Top 30 (UK New Musical Express chart).
ABC-TV's 'The Road To Beatlemania' broadcast.
John buys 'Kenwood', St George's Hill Estate, Weybridge, for 20,000 pounds.
1966
Klaus Voorman is released from his NEMS contract by Epstein so that he can join Manfred Mann as bassist.
NEMS, acting as agents, cancels Freddie and the Dreamers' concerts in the Philippines, due to have started on 5 August.
Georgie Fame's management decline an offer from Epstein for Fame to star in an autumn concert tour of the UK.
1967
Brian attempts to bring Tim Buckley over from the USA for a concert appearance at the Saville Theatre.
1968
Studio 2. 3.30-8.00pm. Mono mixing: 'Revolution' (remixes 20, 21, from take 16). Recording: 'Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da' (overdub onto take 23). Mono mixing: 'Revolution' (remixes 12-21, from take 23).
Studio 2. 9.00pm-3.00am. Recording: 'Cry Baby Cry' (approximately 30 unnumbered takes). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Richard Lush.
The Apple staff moves in 3 Savile Row. Some departments remain at 95 Wigmore Street.

Yoko signs copies of her book 'Grapefruit' at the store Selfridges, on occasion of its re-release. John attends.
