5.00-5.29pm. BBC's 'Pop Go The Beatles' (6th edition) broadcast (recorded 10 July 1963, 10.30am-1.30pm).

1964
Charity performance on 'The Night Of 100 Stars', at the London Palladium. The Beatles meet Lawrence Olivier. Photographer Dezo Hoffmann present.

1965
UK single release: 'Help!'/'I'm Down'.

1966
Harold Wilson re-opens the Cavern Club. Brian sends a congratulatory telegram and declines an invitation to attend the proceedings.

Brian was supposed to fly to USA this day to prepare the next Beatles North American tour.

''Yesterday'... And Today', 5th week in the Top 30 (Billboard).

1968
Studio 2. 7.00pm-2.30am. Recording: 'Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey' (overdub onto take 10, tape reduction take 10 into takes 11, 12, overdub onto take 12). Mono mixing: 'Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey' (remixes 1-5, from take 12); 'Good Night' (remixes 1-6, from take 34).
