'With The Beatles', 33rd week in the Top 30 (UK New Musical Express chart).
Apearance on BBC-TV's 'Top Of The Pops' (recorded 7 July 1964).
1966
UK EP release: 'Nowhere Man'.
Arrival at the London Airport, with Brian, who says: 'I am cancelling tours to the Philippines by Cilla Black and Sounds Incorporated'.
6.30am. Press conference at the London Airport.
US gold certification: ''Yesterday'... And Today'.
The Cyrkle reach number 2 on the Billboard chart with 'Red Rubber Ball'.
1968
Studio 2. 3.00pm-3.00am. Recording: 'Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da' [re-make] (takes 1-12, tape reduction take 12 into take 13, overdub onto take 13). Mono mixing: 'Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da' (unnumbered rough remix, from take 13). Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Geoff Emerick; 2nd Engineer: Richard Lush.
1st time that a recording with outside musicians is rejected. Re-make with piano intro. Mix for Paul.
Press preview of 'Yellow Submarine' at the Bowater House Cinema. Paul, George and Ringo attend, and pose for photographers with a life-sized cardboard cut-out of their 'Yellow Submarine' persona.
1969
Studio 2. 2.30-10.45pm. Recording: 'Here Comes The Sun' (overdub onto take 13, tape reduction take 13 into takes 14, 15). Studio 2 (control room only). 10.45-11.45pm.
